The state of Victoria offers a variety of large and small coastal dune systems starting at the western border (lower Glenelg River) and heading along the South West coast towards Discovery Bay Coastal Park, Cape Bridgewater, Port Fairy and the Warrnambool area.
Closer towards Melbourne you can find smaller dunes dotted along Mornington Peninsula and Phillip Island. Wilson's Promontory is a popular sandboarding destination situated on the southern most tip of Victoria, offering a variety of dunes to ride for those willing to travel.
Heading along the east coast you will find another popular sandboarding destination, the Croajingolong National Park - Here lies a large array of dune systems along the coast, with the biggest being at Point Hicks that meets up with Thurra River. Here you can camp and sandboard until your heart's content!
